Who is responsible for processing your data?
Herdy Rostel Youlou, based in Dakar, Senegal, is responsible for processing the data collected through this site. Contact: hello@herdyyoulou.com.
What data is collected?
This site collects personal data in two cases, always at your own initiative: when you fill in the contact form (name, email address, company, phone and country optional, estimated budget, desired timeline, and the content of your message), and when you sign up for the newsletter in the footer (your email address only).
No tracking cookies, no audience-measurement tool (Google Analytics or equivalent), and no advertising trackers are used on this site.
How is this data used?
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your project inquiry. It is sent by email via the Brevo service, used only as a technical delivery provider.
Your newsletter sign-up email is stored as a contact in Herdy Rostel Youlou's Brevo account, solely to occasionally send you resources and insights to strengthen your security. It is never sold or shared with a third party, and you can unsubscribe at any time (see "How long is this data kept?" below).
Who has access to this data?
Herdy Rostel Youlou, the direct recipient of your message.
Sendinblue SAS (Brevo), 9-17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France (Paris Trade and Companies Register No. 498 019 298), used as a technical subprocessor to send the notification email.
Vercel Inc., the site's host (see legal notice), which technically processes the requests needed to run the site.
How long is this data kept?
Messages sent via the contact form are kept in Herdy Rostel Youlou's professional inbox for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived per his usual inbox-management practices.
Your newsletter sign-up email is kept until you unsubscribe (an unsubscribe link is included in every email sent) or ask directly at hello@herdyyoulou.com.
What are your rights?
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any laws applicable in your country of residence, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, as well as the right to object to and restrict its processing. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to hello@herdyyoulou.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority (for example, the CNIL in France, cnil.fr).
Cookies
This site does not use any tracking cookies or third-party trackers.
Security
The site applies several server-side security measures (encrypted HTTPS connection, strict security headers, rate limiting and anti-spam protection on the contact form) to protect the data submitted.
