I'm Herdy Rostel Youlou,a Cybersecurity Analystbased in Africa.

My work sits at the intersection of security and product thinking. Before cybersecurity, I designed interfaces, and that dual lens stays with me: a system is never just technical, it's also used by people. Design taught me how a system is actually used. Security teaches me how it's attacked.

I founded Rostel High-Tech in 2021, a creative and tech studio built for Africa, where I now lead the cybersecurity practice: audits, hardening, monitoring of client infrastructure. I built RoxShield there, a human risk scoring platform selected into the Cyber4Africa program, and RSankofa, an open source SOC Lab for log analysis and threat hunting.
